I’ve come across quite possibly the most expansive restoration of an MK4 Toyota Supra you’ll ever see.
Usually, when someone says they’re restoring their car, a thorough rotisserie rebuild comes to mind where they replace the broken parts and refurbish everything else. Maybe they’ll respray the entire body while you’re at it. But according to Marco Capici and his latest album he’s dropped on Facebook earlier yesterday (May 17, 2018) the level of restoration he’s doing on his Supra boggles the mind. From the 281 photos he’s uploaded, it looks like he’s restoring every single part on his Supra excluding the engine. I’m talking a whole mint transmission unit, an entirely new rear end, a new roof panel, everything. Click the link below to check out the album! The owner’s turned off embedding so we can’t show the album here, unfortunately.

Presumably, Baltic Supra is referring to the self-proclaimed world’s fastest automatic Supra that’s been making its way around Youtube as well as in real life on many dragstrips in the Florida area.
If that’s the case, rest assured, all these parts are in capable hands.
I’m assuming all these new parts will go on a Supra that’s not going to be drag raced.
A quick search on an OEM Toyota parts site reveals just how expensive the parts listed are.
- A whole rear end, including a rear differential– $1,421.18
- A whole OEM Transmission unit- $6965.61
- New front bumper in white– $425.60
And that’s just the three biggest pieces I randomly searched for. The grand total for all these OEM parts has to be around tens of thousands of dollars.
And I don’t even think this is all that unreasonable.
90’s Japanese supercars are only rising in price. If there was any time to restore a Supra to OEM quality levels, now would be about the right time to do it.
I’ll be following this guy’s build as much as he shares and will dig up as much information on the final build as I find it.
So bookmark this page and keep an eye on this article as I’ll surely drop y’all an update.
