Speedline Type 2110 Tarmac Rally wheels, made legendary in the late ’90s and early ’00s rallying, is back in production.

If you’ve hankered for a set of these super-popular Speedline Type 2110 tarmac rally wheels and don’t want to pay for a used set priced out of your budget, you’re in luck! According to Speedline Corse UK on their official Facebook page earlier today (July 23, 2018) they’re bringing back this iconic rally wheel with their new continuation model. Check out their Facebook post below.

According to their post above it looks like these are the intial sizes available.

  • 17×8 +15 5×100 for GpA fitment
  • 17×7

Admittedly, with little knowledge about this wheel, right off the bat I can see why people like this design. First, there’s that iconic star design with spokes pushed our right to the lip of the wheel. It’s a timeless design that arguably looks good on any car. Then there are the color options. A quick google search shows just how good this wheel looks in white and gold. They probably look best with a bit of dirt and brake dust on them. Finally, there’s the history behind these wheels. Thanks to its simple and functional design, they were extensively used by wining rally teams. A wheel with a racing pedigree is always good for that “street cred.”

Just check out this GPA Subaru Legacy kept in tip-top shape ripping a mean one on this rally course from a while back.

And here are a couple of photos I dug up on twitter showcasing this wheel with real deal Subaru Rally cars.

And since these wheels are brand-spankin’ new, rest assured you know they’ve been certified by whatever governing board certifies wheels in the UK. In the land of F1 and touring cars, I’m sure their rules are strict. Just check out how they design their own wheels here.

Old-school but good-looking wheels are making a comeback all over from Japan with Spoon SW388s and Desmond Regamasters and now over here in the UK with these Rally Tarmac throwbacks.

This is a trend I can get behind. Order these good-looking rally wheels ASAP!
