An icon of car media in the United States finally got his star on Maryland Public TV’s walk of fame.

If you’re an older millennial like me or tuned into Motor Week anytime in the last couple of years, you’ve probably seen car personality and bonafide mechanic Patt Goss educating and entertaining you about the ins and outs of the modern automobile. Maryland Public TV did him a solid earlier this week (Oct. 11,2018) when they honored Goss with a star on MPT’s walk of fame. With only a handful of America’s greatest broadcast journalists and personalities from all facets of media, this is a notable honor that few get to experience.

Pat Goss joins Motor Week’s founder and arguably one of the most important car journalists icons of our time John Davis who started MotorWeek literally 38 seasons ago with both these titans of car media still going strong, today.

MotorWeek was the show Goss cut his teeth on when it came to standing in front of a camera with his own segment dubbed Goss’ Garage. As the show’s master technician, Goss’s short segments informed the American consumer about the common pitfalls of modern motoring as well as educated viewers on some of the more common products they’d come across when shopping around car maintenance related items. Short and to the point, Goss segments cut to the heart of the matter without all the fuss. Thankfully, a lot of his videos are uploaded for security online thanks to MotorWeek.

You’ll be glad to know that Goss owns and operates at least two car garages in the Maryland area with high ratings as per his customer’s Yelp reviews and looks to have his own Radio Show on Youtube where you can call in with questions.

Congratulations Mr. Goss on your star and I look forward to possibly calling in during your show if and when I have a question.
