Just in case your 2019 Honda Odyssey has a flat and your neighbor has a stack of OEM 2019 Acura NSX wheels, you can ask him to use one of those wheels to make it to the tire shop for a new tire.
OEM Honda wheels, not surprisingly, share a lot of the same specs across multiple platforms. But did you know that the new Honda Odyssey shares similar wheel specs with an Acura NSX, Honda’s halo car, because it does. According to a thread aptly titled, “Inspired examples of OEM Wheels on the “Wrong Car!” on The Car Lounge section of the VW Vortex I was scrolling through, as a Honda head, this particular example caught my eye. This brand new Honda Odyssey was sporting a most unusual set of wheels, one from an Acura NSX.

If I didn’t know the wheel specs for either of these cars, I would’ve never guessed that the wheels on the Honda Odyssey weren’t stock since it fits the Odyssey from the side so well.
Thanks to WheelSize.com, I’m able to compare wheel sizes between both models. The Honda Odyssey has a 5×120 lug pattern with a 235/55/19 tire on a 7.5×19 wheel and a +50 offset. In comparison, the Acura NSX also has a 5×120 lug pattern with a 245/35/19 tire on an 8.5×19 wheel with a +55 offset.
Thanks to sites like Willtheyfit.com, I can show you just how close these two wheels actually are, which is, pretty darn close if you ask me.
“Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 17.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 7.7mm more than before.”
The Honda Civic Type R has a 5×120 lug pattern with a 235/30/20 tire on an 8.5×20 wheel and a +60 offset.
Also according to Willtheyfit.com
“Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 22.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 2.7mm more than before.”
I’m sure there are other wheels that mix and match between models of Hondas and Acuras and there’s a good chance if your modern Honda wheel has a 5×120 lug pattern, they’ll fit on another Honda with the same lug pattern.
