All hail the new FWD Tsukuba King, the Vibrant Performance Civic takes home the FF track record back to Canada and it doesn’t look like it’ll be broken anytime soon.

Kismet, fate, destiny, call it what you want but it was written in the stars. The Vibrant Performance Civic has only one job and it’s to run blazingly fast wherever it goes. On that note, the results were officially posted yesterday (Feb. 24, 2019) from the latest Goodride presents Attack Tsukuba 2019 and the Vibrant Performance Civic took second place overall in an event that hosted 94 entrants, literally the cream of the crop from Japan’s current tuning scene who specifically turned up their boost to “attack Tsukuba.” The official time, as mentioned in the title for the Civic is 53.071 seconds on the last lap of seven.

Everyone seems to be comparing the JDMyard EG Civic from Australia, the other Honda who took up William’s offer to join him in Japan and they managed a blazing 54.901 lap time.

According to PZTuningWill’s latest Instagram post, his 53.071-second lap time is literally the fifth fastest car to EVER lap the Tsukuba circuit. That means their Civic is in a class of its own.

The only car that ran faster during this weekend was a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 by Team Escort laying down an otherworldly 51.119-second lap time, a commendable feat no doubt.

Consider that the lap record is held by Kamui Kobayashi in an ungodly 44.008 seconds in a Super Formula car. When you come back to earth with cars that aren’t open-wheel, the other fastest cars have JUST broken under 50 seconds and that is with semi-slicks.

Full video posted above! I’ve scoured social media and YouTube for an official lap video but I have yet to come across one. I’m sure Vibrant Performance is working out some official video and I’ll update this post accordingly.  PZTuningWill DID post a part of his hot lap above but that just a tease. In addition, PZTuning’s Facebook during the event. Fast forward to 5:30 when the announcers find out just how fast he went. It’s amazing.

Congrats to everyone involved in this Civic and to you Will.
