This Florida man may or may not have succeeded in getting his riding lawn mower into the back of his Mazda MPV minivan.

If you’re a homeowner without a truck you can probably empathize with this Florida man’s plight. Earlier this month Florida resident Alan Nichols was at his local Home Depot presumably ready to drive off when he observed something so “Florida man” that he whipped out his phone. The owner of a new riding lawn mower was trying his best to drive into the back of his early model Mazda MPV. Check out the amazing video that’s already racked up 2.2 million views below.

From the distance he’s filming, perhaps height-wise he could’ve made it into the van. The opening of that Mazda MPV is only so tall and, from the video, it’s hard to believe in my opinion, he thought he could make it in there, that is unless he thought he could duck his head in at the last moment.

Riding on the edge of a set of 2×4’s, the rider underestimates the load-bearing capabilities of those two pieces of wood and the inevitable happens, the wood breaks.

It gets better. Supposedly there’s a plot twist. Here’s what the video recorder put in the comments below.

Plot twist: he backed it up, shut his trunk and drove away.

I find it hard to believe that this older gentleman didn’t at least get the length, width, and height of the riding lawn mower and did some quick maths to see if it would fit, after all. So, I’m going to believe that plot twist.

I’m sure this isn’t even the craziest thing someone’s done at a Home Improvement store. I’m fairly certain there’s a photo floating around of a full lawn mower in the back of a Chevrolet Camaro.

Have you ever done something or seen a crazy loading story of your own? Let me know in the comments below!
