If you want a snapshot of the random trash that happens during H2OI 2019, this slice of life on Ocean City’s Coastal Highway is just a taste.
You can get away with a lot of shenanigans during H2OI in Ocean City but you can’t just go around, spitting on people’s cars and expect to get away with it. This random dude decided he’d “get back” at some rowdy passengers in a Nissan Maxima just cruising, spit on their car, and got a beat down from the Maxima’s passenger cruising along with him.
Oh, and there’s a dinosaur, too.
Check out the video courtesy of H20I 2019 attendee Cindy Meija below.
Cindy is just strolling along Coastal Highway, the main artery of Ocean City and where most cars spend their time driving back and forth not going over 30 MPH.
Going that slow and mix in a little boredom and people are bound to shout stuff at each other from across the highway.
The circumstances to why this guy spat on this other guy’s Nissan Maxima are beyond me at the moment but it couldn’t have been that serious. Also, the spit is off camera but the Nissan Maxima driver showed up in the Facebook comments where this video came from alleging that’s what this dude did.
Under no circumstances is it ever OK to just go around blatantly messing with people’s property. Sure, you can wash off spit but the disrespect. The disrespek!
Thinking no one in the Nissan Maxima would jump out and defend themselves, the spitter and his crew just keep walking until someone does jump out from the Maxima.
The spitter takes a swing to the face courtesy of the Maxima’s passenger, the Maxima driver pulls over to diffuse the situation, and, from what I can gather, words were exchanged and it only ever got to one punch.
And there’s a man in a T-Rex inflatable dinosaur costume holding an American flag because of course there is. Some say he brings peace and that ‘s what I like to think too.
Don’t spit on people’s cars, take it easy out there, and just enjoy H2OI 2019 for what it is, people.
