Only a pair of noobs like these two would be dumb enough to steal a car and attempt a full color change on a Monday afternoon in front of a 7-11.

It’s common sense for even an upstanding citizen like myself that rule number one when attempting a full color change of a stolen car is to find some proper cover. According to Colorado resident Josh Dice in a video he shared on Facebook earlier yesterday (Sept. 29, 2019) Josh didn’t even have to try hard filming a pair of grand theft auto amateurs spray paint a white Ford Focus to black in the parking lot of a 7-11.

Check out the unbelievable video below.

According to Josh in a caption on the original video,

Anyone missing a Ford? Its black now. This is off Coal Mine and Wadsworth around 1pm yesterday at the 7-11. Went in for smokes and came out they were gone.

In the video, we can see a guy and a girl hastily spraying, in windy weather, a white Ford Focus, black. You can tell they’ve asked a store associate some advice because, at the very least, they’ve used painters tape to tape off the rear taillights.

The girl is decked out in a full painters suit, only necessary if you’re in a painters booth and not in the open air.

They did not spend extra money on expensive spray paint because the black paint coming out of those cans is barely providing enough coverage. At the rate they were spraying, it would take a good 45 minutes to cover the entire car.

The pair did not get far. The rest of Josh’s caption reads,

“Update: Car was found in Englewood and it was stolen. They were arrested.”

Englewood is only five miles from Littleton.

The way these two carried out their crime, it wasn’t a matter of if, but when.

Learn a lesson from these two.

I mean, don’t steal, but, in all things, do it right or don’t do it at all?
