This Army officer deployed somewhere in the Middle East shared how their unit decks out one of their vehicles for Christmas.

It looks like Santa’s got a new ride and this one’s got a 120 mm smooth-bore gun. Army officer Jordan Morgan shared a video from wherever he’s deployed showing off the special sleigh they decked out for Santa Claus in the spirit of Christmas. Our boys abroad decked out an entire M1 Abrams tank in Christmas lights and maneuvered the tank around their barracks to spread some Christmas cheer.

Check out Santa’s show of force below.

Santa’s new ride is an absolute unit, a cacophony of Honeywell’s gas turbine engine and the clackity-clack of tank tracks rattling over the desert floor.

Whoever decked this tank out has gone to town with bright Christmas lights stretching the length of the tank from the tip of the main gun all the way to the rear. Just to the right of the main gun is a lighted holiday wreath that really ties the whole light show together.

Someone dressed as Santa is on top, waving to those troops stationed there as their tank makes its way around the barracks.

Jordan’s captioned the video with “Holiday Spirit.”

Since the video’s gone up, it’s been shared well over 10,000 times and will probably eclipse one million views soon.

The holidays can be rough for active service members stationed overseas. It’s heartwarming to know that spirits are high for our active duty abroad as the rest of the world approaches December 25.

While Santa might fly around the world in a sleigh pulled by reindeer, as for this Santa stationed somewhere in Kuwait probably, he’s commandeered $6 million battle tank and you’d better steer clear of his way.

Dol you have friends or family serving overseas? How are they celebrating the holidays so far from home? Let me know in the comments below.
