This is surely some kind of sign that these two lovebirds are made for each other.
When Shantel Blanton decided to facetime her boyfriend on her smartphone while she waited, pulled over by the side of the road for a traffic infraction, she didn’t expect her boyfriend Logan Johnston to be in a similar situation. When she looked at the boyfriend’s background, she couldn’t believe her eyes, the reds and blues of Ohio state police were visible. They were both pulled over together.

Besides Logan’s caption above, Logan doesn’t give us any other background information on why both were pulled over by police. For Shantel, she’s sitting in the passenger side and Logan’s tagged another person in the photo so presumably Logan’s girlfriend didn’t do anything wrong herself. The situation was low-key enough that a bit of facetiming was no big deal. If I were to guess, Shantel’s driver was probably speeding a bit.
As for Logan, it looks like he’s driving in some kind of work van or truck, pulled over for similar reasons.
Both boyfriend and girlfriend are smiling from ear to ear so they’re clearly tickled pink about the situation.
Since their photo’s been posted it’s been shared over 61,000 times with close to 9,000 comments and counting. As I write this, there are people commenting by the second, a lot of couples really getting a kick out of this once-in-a-lifetime facetime.
What a story they’ll have to tell all their friends and family during this Christmas holiday. I’m sure it’ll be the talk of the table around Christmas dinner for sure.
