TJ Hunt may have bought the world’s cheapest non-crashed Lambo Aventador but it’s costing him, his first major expense being a trip out to the impound lot

TJ Hunt is seriously pissed off right now. According to his recent posts on social media his newly acquired 2012 Lamborghini Aventador is in police impound after California Highway Patrol pulled him over and deemed his situation bad enough for his new yellow pride and joy to enjoy a ride on a flat bed.

Check out his posts below.

If you didn’t already know TJ Hunt recently treated himself to his first supercar, a 2012 Aventador with over 5,000 miles. Supposedly this is the cheapest Aventador with a clean title on sale.

According to TJ in his Instagram stories,

“To answer everyone’s main question, no, I was not speeding, I was actually going under the speed limit when he pulled me over…everything fine, you’ll see in the video its a real s***y situation, that’s all I’m saying right now.”

Some comments speculated on his Instagram post that CHP towed his car away for no front plates. CHP replied back on Instagram that

“We don’t tow for no plates unless he’s got a few tickets already and refuses to put on the plates on them maybe…) or if his reg is expired for more than six months OR maybe there’s a problem with his drivers license, OR maybe he was driving reckless. No clue without seeing the tow request and/or ticket.”

As of this writing TJ Hunt isn’t going into much detail but, by the time you read this, a video update from him will be up so I’ll provide that update once his Youtube vid goes online.

As mentioned by CHP above, according to the California vehicle code reasons to impound a vehicle include driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked license, driving in a manner that’s considered dangerous to public safety, and driving with one too many parking tickets/infractions on your record. There are a few other reasons but those are the most common.

My guess is that the previous owner hasn’t paid for a good amount of parking tickets or has one or two major infractions linked to the car. Perhaps CHP didn’t want to take the chance letting this car get away without first putting it into impound.

Here’s the two most recent videos with TJ and his Lambo.

Also, it looks like this is the listing of the car on eBay before he bought it.

Tough luck, TJ. Hope it isn’t as bad as we all think it is.
