If this Triple Yellow Tri-Coat Ford Mustang GT lines up next to you, revs its V8 engine, and goads you into a dig from the lights, don’t.
Think of a police car and the first thing that comes to mind are those large Ford Interceptors or a classic Crown Vic. But according to Tik Tok user @Phxdsol, down in Arizona, their undercover police are doing it a little different. In one of his Tik Tok videos, PHX catches this unassuming 2016 Ford Mustang GT pulling over a box truck for a traffic violation. You wouldn’t think it’s a police car, but it’s got the reds and blues flashing from all sides.

Having driven in Arizona a handful of times, their roads are way better than the crummy roads we have in California. Well marked, smooth, and, with highways having multiple lanes, the urge to speed was just too easy. And police know this. Case in point this undercover police car.
This is not the first time this Ford Mustang’s been caught in the wild. I correctly ID’d this ‘stang as a 2016 because four years ago, on Reddit, someone posted up this helpful four-panel collage showing Arizona police purchasing said Mustang and a Dodge Challenger.

Arizona police chose wisely, getting something bright and with a burly exhaust note. The GT isn’t the laughable EcoBoost four-cylinder. Next to the GT350, this Mustang with a 302 V8 is the most powerful Mustang their department could probably justify. This Yellow pony puts out 435 HP and 400 lb-ft, a true American muscle car.
While this Mustang’s M.O. is probably just to blend in with traffic, catching your red light runners, extra-wide U-Turners, or no-signalers, they very well could goad you into drag racing from a light. If you’re in some Dodge Hellcat whatever or in your VQ-equipped whatchamacallit, don’t act like you wouldn’t give some bright yellow Mustang a proper go at it if it pulled up next to you and started revving.
If you launch it and exceed the speed limit, that Mustang will put on the blues and tunes and slap you with speeding, a speed contest, and maybe an exhibition of speed on top.
Especially during these uncertain times with fewer people on the road, if you’re itching to speed, don’t. There’s a yellow Mustang with 400+HP in Arizona ready to catch you.

This same under cover cop harassed me one day in 2023 in a parking lot and tried to run me over with that yellow car. I wish I knew they was a under cover cop then, It would have made it easy for me to press charges.. Maybe I still can. They started off by yelling at me from far away. Yelling “Pu**y, Pu**y” and at first I thought he was my cousin calling me over to mess with me but as I got closer I seen he was not my cousin. He just kept calling me pu**y while someone else in a black suv joined him in yelling pu**y at me…But also the one in the yellow car said if I approach him he will cap me, so I wanted to just leave then but as I started to leave the one in the black suv told the one in the yellow car to run me over, so it they started to drive at me. I avoided getting hit by riding my bike to the nearest car I seen knowing that it will stop them from running me over bc they’d have to hit the car to do so. They left, and I called 911, but the police I talked to did not seem interested in seeing who it was, this made me believe something fishy was up. Maybe I can now expose him if he don’t apologize to me.
