If you want to stay low-key and out of the public eye but still want to enjoy a bit of performance, there’s no better car to mob around in than a new Subaru WRX.

Earlier last year Post Malone showed up to a Salt Lake City, Subaru dealership to buy himself a brand new Subaru WRX and since then, sightings with Post enjoying his asymmetrical all-wheel drive have been nil, until this weekend. According to Post Malone Mexico earlier last week (June 18,2020) Post was spotted in Midvale, just 12 miles out of Salt Lake City, chilling at an intersection ready to make a left-hand turn.

Check out the video going viral below.

Optioned out in Crystal White Pearl and sporting a Thule Roof Rack, to the unassuming eye, this fellow in a 2020 Subaru WRX looks like any other Utah driver. But, these fans knew what’s up.

A quick look on Google Maps shows that these fans stopped in the middle of the intersection on the other side to wave and say wassup to one of this decade’s most prolific artists.

Post, a resident of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, was excited to see some of his fans showing him some love. With windows down, enjoying the first few days of summer as Utah temps touched 90F, Post was more than happy to reciprocate the love.

We already know Post has a Bugatti Chiron, a custom Chevrolet C10, a Rolls Royce Wraith (supposedly already crashed, and a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6.

This is white Subaru WRX is most definitely Post’s daily.

Cheaper by a couple thousand, just a tad less powerful than its STI sibling and without the gigantic spoiler, the WRX Sedan is one of the most capable and reliable sedans on the market today, something you can really push without being reckless.

My theory is, unlike the STI, the WRX also comes with Subaru’s Lineartronc Continuously Variable Transmission (A.K.A. an automatic) whereas the STI is manual-only. I feel like Post be the type of dude to appreciate a good CVT.

Here’s Post posing with Nate Wade Subaru staff last year.

Solid choice, Post, mobbing around in a Subaru WRX.
