One does not simply pull an undo and ctrl+z your way out of a wrong turn.

A Toronto driver in a Nissan Rogue is catching a lot of heat, specifically on Reddit’s /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit, for pulling off a 3-point turn on the on-ramp to the Queen Elizabeth’s Way freeway earlier this week. Dash cam footage shows the Rogue stopping halfway into the on-ramp, chucking a left, and completing a three-point turn right in front of confused and frustrated motorists.

3-Point Turn On A Highway On-Ramp! from r/IdiotsInCars

The dashcam footage from Reddit user DayTime10Ca shows a truck in front of him, frustrated and angered at this imbecile of a driver, driving forward so he could sneak past the rouge Rouge. Since a three-point turn blocks both on-ramp lanes, he was stuck.

Several drivers high-beam the driver, driving home the point he’s a total ido** for pulling off such a heinous stunt.

Here’s the exact T-intersection on Google maps.

A quick birds eye-view reveals that, if this driver continued on like he should’ve done, he could’ve taken the 17 exit less than two miles away and doubled back. He made a mistake that would’ve cost him an extra ten minutes but that’s what happens when you don’t pay attention to where you’re going.

Careless driving is a real problem in Ontario, so much so that, according to JDLawers.ca, fines, points, and jail time have increased accordingly to deter unattentive drivers from not paying attention.

Wrong-way driving, a form of carless driving, is punishable by fines up to $50,000, two years in jail, up to six demerit points, and possible license suspension for several years depending on the severity of the infraction.

It’s common to make a wrong turn, everyone is bound to do it several times in their driving career. What normal people do is let out an enormous sigh and take the next available exit.

What you don’t do is what this crazy demo’d, pulling off a three-point turn and driving the wrong way down an on-ramp.
