If you’re driving in the Las Vegas desert, you might come across something in verde scandal with a V12 worth a quarter million.

Clark county residents and Las Vegas tourists are jumping out of their rentals at this one particular location in the Las Vegas desert for this unusual reason. According to photos and videos flooding social media, someone who rented a fairly new Lamborghini Huracan, valued at well above $250,000, crashed it in Nevada and literally left it to rot on the side of the road.

Check out a photo circulating on Reddit including a through walk-around and explanation courtesy of Royalty Exotic Cars below.

Parked off the side of the road, sticking out like a sore thumb in that shade of green you only find on exotics, this Huracan has some serious damage.

As REC expounds on, this Lambo was probably traveling at a high-rate of speed, lost control, and bounced across the Nevada desert floor ripping its undercarriage to smithereens, not to mention triggering all its airbags.

Built on a hybrid-carbon aluminum chassis, any damage to its underside and you’re looking at thousands of dollars in repairs if not scraping the car entirely. This level of damage isn’t something even the most competent body shop can just…fix.

As for the story, the gist of it is that there’s an exotic rental company out of Tulsa, Oklahoma (over 1,200 miles away) who rented this particular Huracan out to a customer over several days. The problem is this rental company doesn’t actually own the Huracan, some other private party does. Neither the rental company’s insurance nor the owner’s insurance will shell out any coverage to tow and repair this $250,000 exotic.

It’s in limbo.

So, for the meantime, the only thing anyone can do is to let it sit while the Oklahoma-based rental company sorts it all out.

Still, it’s a shame no one’s claimed it and I’m sort of surprised it hasn’t been vandalized by passerby’s.

If you know where this Lambo is, it would make a dope Instagram photo.
