420DoggFace208 brought so much positive attention to Ocean Spray, the CEO bought him a brand new truck.

Remember that long boarder, a week ago that captured the hearts and minds of social media as he skated down an off-ramp to the tune of Fleetwood Mac while he sipped Ocean Spray Cranberry juice?

His name is Nathan Apodaca, but he’s better known as 420DoggFace208 on TikTok where his video went viral.

Ocean Spray’s CEO was so impressed with the young father’s chill vibes and how much positive attention it’s brought his beverages he’s gifted Apodaca with a 2021 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X, the top of the line trim level for Nissan’s mid-size truck.

Check out all of Apodaca’s latest vids from TikTok below as he films a promo spot for the local Nissan dealership and as he enjoys his new wheels.

On his new truck, a sign reads,

“Dear Nathan,
Good Vibes Only.
Much Love, Ocean Spray”

The truck is supplied by Ron Sayer Nissan out of Idaho Falls, Idaho, close to where Apodaca lives.

Although Fleetwood Mac’s song Dreams tells the story of a young woman moving on from her former lover, the ethereal voice of Stevie Nicks intertwined with the chill melody of 70s soft rock makes it a song everyone falls in love with all over again. Paired with a Hispanic dude bombing down an offramp sipping juice and it’s a combo that just….works.

It brought a smile to everyone who watched it, myself included. So far, Apodaca’s video has been viewed close to 26 million times. To put that number into perspective, that’s almost the entire state of Texas watching it.

It got so popular, Mick Fleetwood himself joined in on the fun.

Talk about unintentional product placement, but those numbers with that kind of positive connection is interaction that companies struggle to organically make. 420DoggFace208 achieved a PR miracle some marketing departments work years to achieve, and he did it just by being himself.

A Monday Night football commercial, at around $300,000 a pop for a 30-second ad spot, can potentially reach 15 million on a good game day.

When you put it like that, a brand new set of wheels is the LEAST Ocean Spray can do. These Frontier Pro-4Xs retail for around $38,000. I won’t be surprised if we see Apodaca as the new face of Ocean Spray, they’d be fools not to.

Also, can we talk about how powerful being your true self is? All I see in Apodaca’s videos is him doing what he loves, spreading good vibes.

You can do a lot of good in these bleak times just by being yourself! Just don’t expect a truck out of it.
