If the TikTok videos about the next 7-11 car meet go viral, the next one is coming up sooner than you think.

Earlier last year, thousands of cars randomly met up at 7-Elevens across the country all thanks to a handful of car TikTokers who took the idea of a nationwide car meet at 7-11s just for the heck of it.
It got so big that, as I blogged about, 7-Eleven corporate got wind of the meet and informed store owners to expect larger than average crowds on that random November day.
Enough pent-up car meet energy had built up thanks to major car meets postponing their annual events for another year that any car meet, even one at a convenance store, had potential, and it delivered.
Ever since, 7-Eleven’s social media embraced the car community, encouraging its followers to tag their photos in front of their stores with #CarsOf7Eleven.
7-Eleven recently made a compilation of car influencers announcing they’re starting free slurpee day on July 1 (if you download and use their app.)
To show just how large an impact that one, random meet had, here’s their follower growth chart by week from July 2018 to as of this blog post, that peak coincided with hype growing around the November 5, 2021 7-Eleven car meet.
And, since then, 7-Eleven’s enjoyed a healthy bump in new followers from the car community.
But the question on everyone’s mind, mine included, is when’s the next 7-11 car meet?
That’s the thing, since it was an impromptu, organically started car meet with no singular organizer the next car meet happens when hype around the next proposed one gains enough steam to the point where it starts bleeding into other social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and maybe Twitter.)
I haven’t seen that happen yet.
Regardless, a quick search on TikTok reveals there are potential 7-Eleven car meets brewing.
Car meetups at 7-Eleven on July 11, 2022
There are a handful of TikTokers proposing the next nationwide 7-Eleven car meet to be on July 11, 2022 (a Monday) at around 7 P.M. AKA 7-Eleven day.
According to the latest TikTok results, there are a handful of popular videos (embedded below) informing followers to spread the word about this July 11 meet, but the hype around these meets is definitely not as large as last year’s.
That being said, if you’re bored, have nothing to do, and don’t know if a car meet is popping off at your local 7-11, I say go out anyway.
Park, hit up some friends, and get it started.

November 5, 2022, or nationwide 7-Eleven car meet part 2?
Although it’s not in the works…yet, the next big nationwide 7-Eleven car meet might be on the anniversary of the last one.
November 5, 2022 is a Saturday.
If the July 11 meet doesn’t materialize, this is logically the next best guess.
Although, since it’s not as random, it might not be as popular or might not happen at all.
I’ll keep this blog post updated
Since no one knowns when the next one gets popular enough to actually become a nationwide meet, until it happens, I’ll monitor TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to keep this blog post updated.
