Parked at a Lowes parking lot, the mobile diner’s mission right now is to serve hot meals to those who need it during their time of need
Denny’s is stepping up in a big way doing what they know best, cooking up hot meals for hungry people. The Denny’s mobile relief diner announced on Facebook earlier yesterday (Oct 3, 2022) that they’re in Florida, are parked at 285 SW 25th Ln Lowes in Cape Coral, FL between Oct 4- Oct 8 and will be serving hot meals to anyone who wants one between the hours of 8AM-2PM.

Nicknamed “Big Red,” the Denny’s Mobile Diner’s is a 53-foot traveling kitchen with one mission, to visit areas impacted by natural disasters to serve free, freshly-cooked pancake breakfasts during a time of critical need.
According to their infographic decaled as a badge of honor on the rolling diner, since 2017 Big Red’s rolled up to over 22 natural disasters, seven of those hurricanes.
This is not the first time Big Red’s rolled through Florida this year as they were here in Florida April supporting the local “Tour de Force” cycling event in April.
Hours before Big Red rolled into Cape Coral, their truck was already spotted barreling its way towards the Fort Meyer area.
Floridians like Misty Steury found the Denny’s Mobile Relief Diner and shared how they’re thankful for what they’re doing.
“I waited about 35 minutes,” Steury commented about the line. “The line moved quickly. They’ll be there all week.
Denny’s Mobile Relief Diner hasn’t been parked too long before heading to Florida as, according to WYMT News, they were in Kentucky only a month and a half ago serving hot breakfast to Eastern Kentuckians affected by the recent floods.
So, if you’re in the Cape Coral area anytime this week and are hankering for something hot to eat, you know where to go.
Thank You, Denny’s!
