Apparently, the only thing the dashcam owner was guilty of was stopping.
New Hampshire resident and Redditor /u/Traditional-Tale-479 shared dashcam footage to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit a couple of weeks ago showing an impatient driver going into the opposing lane just to blow by him and a stop sign, narrowly avoiding a collision in the process.

The incident took place at the intersection of Belmont St. and Hayward St. in Manchester, NH (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the video shows, OP’s driving on Belmont St. in a residential area.
He accelerates up to a reasonable speed given the nighttime conditions and low visibility (it’s not the most lighted area, to be honest.)
He comes to a stop and, a car following behind him, goes into the opposing lane to overtake him and the stop sign.
A driver on Hayward St. turning left has to pause to let this maniac by.
Thankfully, it was a four-way, so they had the opportunity to yield to OP, which gave them enough of a buffer to see this imbecile blow by them.
“People run red lights and stop signs all the time around me, the dumb just keep getting dumber,” /u/agoogua commented.
“To be fair, the STOP sign was on your side – not his. /s,” /u/5926134 sarcastically added.
“That stop sign must mean just a suggestion for him,” /u/SBLOU replied.
OP notes that the street name called out by their GPS isn’t actually called Silly Rd.
“It’s spelled Cilly, but yeah, can’t help but smile to myself every time the GPS reads it.”
Even when you think you’ve yielded properly, and it’s clear to turn, as a good defensive driver, you need to be on your toes, ready to react to bird brains like that driver.
