Dashcam footage shows two valets at 15th St. and Sansom parking garage crashing into each other damaging customer cars. Don’t disclose the damage to the owners.
Dashcam footage shared by Redditor /u/Dottat17403 from Oct 23, 2024 shows two valet drivers working at the 15th and Sansom iParkit Garage crashing into each other.
/u/Dottat17403, the owner of one of the cars, says neither of the valets nor any management disclosed the damage to him, only finding out about it when he saw the damage after the fact and watched the incriminating dashcam footage.
Check out his dashcam footage below.
When two idiot valet drivers meet [oc] (valet only garage filled with customer cars)

As mentioned, the incident happened at the 15th & Sansom iParkitGarage in Philadelphia (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
According to OP, this particular garage is a national chain with no self-parking.
As the dashcam footage shows, a valet driver driving a customer’s car is spiraling his way up to the top of the parking garage.
As he exits onto the rooftop, at the same time another valet driver enters to spiral his way down.
The other driver crashes into the dashcam owner’s car at a relatively low speed.
Regardless, they crash into each other.
You can see the other valet driver throw up his hands in frustration.
“No, they didn’t tell us,” OP replies to a comment asking if they disclosed the damage.
“I had to notice the front end damage once I was home, and then found the video.
“I emailed their customer service and the office of the CEO since both local numbers for this place don’t work. It’s a national chain and I did get a 530pm Friday response from the office of the general counsel.”
“You have two different employees with two customer cars damaged and I bet they didn’t tell the other party as well. If you see in the video that their hood opened quite a bit during impact and never returned to closed you’ll know they likely had decent damage too.”
“All of the bumper clips and grills on that side of the bumper are out. I need to get some time to take a closer look at what happened behind the bumper cover now too.”
It should be noted that both valet drivers are working for two different companies, so it’ll be interesting how this all plays out.
It’s unfortunate how the valet driver took his chances and didn’t report it on the off chance OP wouldn’t notice.
Thankfully, he had a dashcam running, and further reason to get one for yourself.
Had he not had proof, it would be a case of he said, she said, the parking garage valets likely not telling the truth about what happened.
