In less than 20 seconds, too idiot drivers pull massively idiotic highway maneuvers that could’ve resulted in serious accidents.

Semi-truck driver and Redditor /u/OrneryAds shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in December (Dec. 13, 2024) from I-95 in Fort Lee showing another semi driver going over a gore point to make their exit followed by a driver in a white Toyota Camry hopping off the same exit into the path of /u/OrneryAds’s semi, causing him to emergency brake.

The incident happened on I-95 in Fort Lee at the 72B Exit to US-1, US-9 South, and to US 46 towards Palisades Park (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he’s traveling in the slow lane of the Interstate 95 Upper Level.

Suddenly, a fellow semi-driver on I-95 figures he will miss his exit and goes over a marked-off gore point onto exit 72B.

“That’s stupid, OP remarks to himself.”

The stupidity doesn’t end because, seconds later, a driver in a white Toyota Camry on exit 72B hops off the exit, over the gore point, and into OP’s path.

This causes OP to emergency brake, bringing his semi and entire load to a screeching halt.

“Oh my God,” OP screams as he blows his air horn at the Camry.

Thankfully, everyone makes it out of the stupifying ordeal unscathed.

Perhaps the only thing needing cleaning is OP’s underwear.

In New Jersey, unsafe lane changes like this are subject to a fine of up to $300 and two points on your driving record.

It’s been said repeatedly, but pulling maneuvers like this, especially in front of semis, increases your chances of an accident many times over.
