A driver in a Ford F-150 couldn’t be bothered to wait for traffic to move naturally, so they drove against traffic, instead.

Long Island commuter and Redditor /u/Godofcheese dug up an old dashcam video from Hicksville from back in 2019 (May 1, 2019 to be exact) showing a driver in a maroon Ford F-150 on Jerusalam Ave think they’re too good to wait for traffic and decide to drive on the wrong side of the road, instead.

The incident happened in the 100 block of Jerusalem Ave across from what’s now the Hicksville Water District Administration Office (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As his dashcam shows, OP drives along Jerusalem Rd around 4 P.M. and begins to slow for stopped traffic up ahead.

Suddenly, a driver in a Maroon Ford F-150 can be seen driving on the wrong side of the road, passing everyone.

The driver can be seen slipping back into traffic at the intersection with Old Country Rd most likely saving him very little time in the grand scheme of things.

“Don’t you understand? It’s his work truck and his time is more valuable than everyone else’s! /s,” /u/StackThePads33 sarcastically commented.

“My taxes paid for all the road I’m gonna use all the road!,” /u/thymeleap humoursly added.

“Dude’s just worried they’re gonna run out of peaches,” /u/majoroutage commented about the song OP was listening to, Peaches by the Presidents of the United States of America.”

Driving against traffic on the wrong side of the road is illegal in all 50 states.

In New York, violaters are subject to a fine of around $150 before fees and three points on your record.
