This clueless driver bolted left, stopped, then changed lanes, again, almost all practically in the middle of the intersection.
Spokane County-area driver and Redditor /u/GriffinGrandiose shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier last year (Aug 21, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing an indecisive driver at this busy Spokane intersection setting themselves up for an accident.
Check out the display of what OP called “decision paralysis” in the video below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened at the intersection of E 2nd Ave. and Freya St. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is driving westbound on 2nd Ave towards the aforementioned intersection.
As this overhead shows, 2nd and Freya isn’t a straightforward, traditional 90-degree intersection, but helpful arrows point you towards the general direction you’re headed.

We see a driver in a Toyota RAV-4 in front of OP suddenly swerve into the leftmost lane, come to a stop, and then, in the middle of the intersection, do a simultaneous signal/lane change back to the original lane they were in.
Whether they were confused by the road markings or thought they could turn left, your guess is as good as mine, but their indecision threw OP for a loop and unnecessarily increased the likelihood of an accident.
Thankfully, nothing came of the confusion, and everyone went about their day, albeit a little delayed.
“Man, I hate people who do this kind of idiocy. Incompetence and an inability to make a decision are some of the worst traits a bad driver can have,” the top comment from /u/GriftersDeuce read.
“I would have been laying on the horn for as long as that idiot was in front of me. Holy crap, if that’s how you drive, then please walk,” /u/Andrey2790 concurred.
In Washington, stopping in the middle of an intersection (entering when you can’t clear it and thereby blocking the intersection) violates the state rule that you may not enter unless you can exit without obstructing traffic, pedestrians, or crosswalks (RCW 46.61.202).
A typical base fine for failing to yield or similar rules‑of‑the‑road infractions like this under Washington’s monetary penalty schedule is about $48 plus statutory assessments, though courts can set local schedules and total payments may be higher.(courts.wa.gov)
