The Jeep driver tried to be slick, cutting up early morning traffic, that is, until they were pulled over.
Oakland County driver and Redditor /u/22bor shared a case of instant karma from earlier in April (Apr 10, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars, showing an aggressive driver in their Jeep Grand Cherokee find out the hard way that you can’t always act a fool behind the wheel and expect that no one’s watching.
Check them out getting pulled over by a Crouching Cop Hidden Charger below with the original Reddit thread linked here.
The incident happened along Eight Mile, concluding after police pounced from their hiding location around the 400 block (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is headed westbound down Eight Mile shortly before and after the Woodward Ave underpass.
A driver in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee can be seen cutting in and out of traffic without signaling.
Their luck runs out after passing a Ferndale Police Officer in their interceptor, hiding in an alley between Globe Slicing and Hey You Tattoo.
Seeing the Grand Cherokee driver break the rules of the road, they put on their reds and blues to pull over the offending driver.
“So satisfying,” the top comment from /u/Hugh-Jass24 reads.
“I was happy because everyone drives like this on 8 Mile,” OP replied.
“Ha, Ferndale cops just love hanging out there to catch speeders, but it’s funny seeing one caught on video,” /u/burrgerwolf shared.
In Ferndale, Michigan, failing to signal a lane change is typically about $120–$170 with 2 points per violation.
If you do it multiple times while weaving, cops can cite each instance, stacking both fines and points.
If it looks aggressive, it can be bumped to careless driving (3 points and higher fines).
