This impatient Tesla driver couldn’t wait two seconds to exit behind another driver from the right side of the driveway.

Orange County-area driver and Redditor /u/Few_Bluebird_4142 shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in May (May 14, 2026) showing the absolute impatience of this Tesla driver, insisting on brute-forcing their way out of the driveway using the wrong side, cutting off OP, the dashcam owner, with the right-of-way.

Check out their impatience below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened on W Chapman Ave as drivers exited the strip mall around Orange Liquor Market (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP is initially headed eastbound on Chapman and slips into the center turn lane to turn into the aforementioned set of stores.

Suddenly, a driver in a Tesla can be seen slipping into the left side of the driveway where drivers are supposed to enter from.

The driver next to the Tesla slips behind OP while the Tesla driver cuts OP off, despite not having the right-of-way.

“What are you doing?” OP asks repeatedly.

Thankfully, no one was affected by the Tesla’s shenanigans, and everyone escaped the situation unscathed.

“Some car brands get bad reputations, but my god, the most consistently bad drivers I see on the road are Tesla drivers. Just oftentimes totally oblivious to their surroundings,” the top comment from /u/Aromatic_Balls reads.

“At least I can predict what a clapped-out Nissan Altima that’s missing its front bumper might do, but a Tesla driver always keeps you guessing.”

“They pay an excessive amount of money for the car and still can’t drive,” /u/yesmrspankysir added.

In California, cutting out of a driveway the wrong way and interfering with traffic in a center turn lane can be treated as a moving violation or an unsafe maneuver. Fines typically land around $238–$500+ depending on the exact code and added fees, and 1 point may be assessed if it’s cited as an unsafe or improper turning movement. In more serious cases involving near-collision or reckless behavior, it can escalate to higher fines or additional penalties.
