This goofball turning left onto Waters was in too much of a rush to notice he needed to yield and almost crashed head-on.

Fulton County-area driver and Redditor /u/ScallywagBeowulf shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in August (Aug 27, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a goofball driver, facing a flashing yellow turn signal, failing to yield and ending up almost crashing, with OP, who had the right of way.

Check out the close call below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened at the intersection of Kimball Bridge Rd. and Waters Rd (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP is driving eastbound down Kimball Bridge towards the aforementioned intersection.

He gets into the dedicated right turn lane and is facing a solid green, giving him the right of way.

Turning traffic coming the other way is facing a flashing yellow, which means they must yield.

As OP reaches the corner of the intersection to turn, a driver turning left onto Waters is too busy trying to find a gap in traffic that they end up brute-forcing their way across, anyway.

Thankfully, they come to their senses just before an imminent crash and emergency brake.

That, or his Ford F-150 did it for him.

They come within a handful of feet of colliding.

OP lays on his horn out of frustration and, rightfully so.

“You even said WTH dude twice,” one of the top comments from /u/Jarb2104 reads.

“…Good you didn’t get hit.”

“Truck driver in the fault…not on you dude!” /u/zzbear03 reassured OP.

In Alpharetta, Georgia, failure to yield while turning is generally a 3-point violation, with a typical fine of around $150–$250 plus court fees.
