This aggressive driver got used to his reckless lane changes, and it finally caught up to him.
St. Louis-area driver and Redditor /u/KFaulk1216 shared head-shaking dashcam footage from I-270 from earlier last week (Sept 4, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit, showing an aggressive BMW driver getting their comeuppance when they pulled their reckless driving maneuvers right in front of a police officer.

The incident happened on I-270 just past Exit 3 onto Gravois Rd. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is headed southbound on I-270 towards Concord.
In Lane #3, the middle lane, OP is minding his own business.
Whether he realizes it or not, what looks like a Missouri State Highway Patrol interceptor is cruising in Lane #1.
Suddenly, a driver in a black BMW SUV comes barreling past, making multiple lane changes at a time, and right in front of the police officer.
The police officer changes lanes to begin to pull the driver over, but the next maneuver from the BMW driver really puts his shenanigans over the top.
The BMW driver squeezes in between two drivers, already following closely, threading the needle just to get into the fast lane.
That’s when the police officer turns on his reds and blues and really begins to pull the driver over.
“I mean, come on, right past the cop. I swear people are getting dumber and dumber,” the top comment from /u/SnugSteamBoat64 reads.
“Every car was an SUV or crossover,” /u/Spock-1701 points out.
Everyone, take note of who the police officer is going after. The line of people barely passing in the left lane? No. The lunatic weaving through traffic? Yes,” /u/SomethingIWontRegret added.
“Also, if you can’t spot an obvious cop car, you’re too oblivious to be driving like that.”
In St. Louis, multiple aggressive lane changes could be cited as improper/unsafe lane changes under Missouri §304.015, generally carrying 2 points on a Missouri license.
