This dashcam owner was forced to drive onto the emergency shoulder to avoid crashing head-on with this goofball driver.
Emmet County-area driver and Pizza delivery driver /u/Cletus_Crenshaw shared head-shaking dashcam footage while on the job from earlier in September (Sept 4, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit, showing a reckless driver on E Mitchell Rd swinging wide into oncoming traffic, heading directly for him, almost causing what would’ve been one disastrous head-on collision.

The incident happened along the 6000 block of County Rd C-58/E Mitchell Rd. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is headed eastbound down E Mitchell towards Epsilon.
As he approaches a gradual curve headed left, a driver rounds the blind corner (from his POV) and, for some reason, swings wide into oncoming traffic, a collision course with OP.
Almost the entire width of their crossover crosses into OP’s lane.
OP takes emergency evasive maneuvers and dives into the emergency shoulder, coming within a handful of feet of getting hit.
Thankfully, OP keeps control, successfully avoids getting hit, and recovers, continuing on his pizza delivery drive.
