SLC-area driver and Redditor /u/Koogar_Kitty shared unfortunate rear dashcam footage from earlier last weekend (Sept 12, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit, showing a driver in a full-size van, not paying attention, rear-ending her as she yielded, making a right-on-red from this 215 off-ramp.

The incident happened on this 215 off-ramp as drivers turned onto W 700 N (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP exits the 215, ready to turn right, heading due east onto 700 N.
She comes to a stop, pauses, then goes before coming to a stop to yield even more.
A driver in a white Chevrolet Express Cargo van, following close behind, sees OP go and assumes they’ve, in fact, committed to turning when, in reality, they stopped again.
Concentrated on through traffic, the Express driver fails to see OP stop and rear-ends them.
