A Washtenaw County-area driver and Redditor /u/dyne-ninee shared head-shaking dashcam footage from Carpenter Rd from earlier in September (Sept 9, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit, showing a driver, fresh off US-23, brute-forcing his way onto Carpenter without yielding at all, almost T-boning OP as a result.

The incident happened at the intersection of Carpenter Rd and the US-23 off-ramp (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is driving south down Carpenter towards Main St.
As he approaches the intersection with this US-23 off-ramp, a driver in a white Chevrolet Silverado blindly turns north onto Carpenter without a lick of yielding.
Thankfully, there were no cars coming the other way, so OP had enough room to quickly swerve left into opposing traffic.
They avoid a collision by mere inches with the other driver, at the moment, seemingly oblivious to his colossal mistake.
