Nothing, not even a driver already in the roundabout, was stopping this stubborn goofball from brute-forcing his way through.
Bernalillo County-area driver and Redditor /u/Phearlosophy shared head-shaking dashcam footage from Albuquerque from earlier in October (Oct 3, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit, showing a stubborn ol’ goofball brute-forcing his way onto this roundabout despite this dashcam owner clearly already in it.
The incident happened at the traffic circle on Indian School Rd NW & Menaul Blvd (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is driving west on Indian School Rd towards Rio Grande Blvd.
As he approaches and enters the roundabout at the intersection of Menaul, a driver in a white Ford F-250 (License Plate BPHY56) can be seen approaching from his right.

This is the simplest type of roundabout, a single-lane one, so the rules are pretty simple: yield to traffic already in the circle.
This old goofball has no intention of slowing and expects drivers to yield to him.
OP slams on his brakes to prevent a T-bone accident, allowing the stubborn man through.
On top of giving him a dirty look, he has the nerve to brake-check him, too.
“What the f*** are you doing?” OP yells. “I have the right of way!“
We can see the driver, who didn’t learn anything, continuing on.
“He’s going home and tell his family how right he was,” the top comment from /u/edsavage404 reads.
“This is the only thing I hate about roundabouts is the idiots who race to them without yielding to the ones in them,” /u/OKIEColt45 added.
Love how he thinks he’s right, doesn’t have to yield, and stops to yell at the OP,” /u/StackThePads33 also added.
In New Mexico, failure to yield at a roundabout generally carries a $25 fine plus applicable fees under the standard penalty schedule. A conviction for failure to yield at a yield sign can add 3 points to your driving record.
