An ignorant driver with a clear view of cross traffic failed to yield to this fast-approaching dashcam owner.
Kaufman County-area driver and Redditor /u/supercreativeusername shared head-shaking dashcam footage as he drove down the Texas 34 Bypass from earlier in October (Oct 6, 2026), showing an ignorant driver busting a U-turn, failing to yield to cross traffic with the right of way.
Here’s the bonehead driving mistake below, with the original Reddit thread linked here.
The incident happened at the intersection of the Texas 34 Bypass and Kings Fort Pkwy (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is headed north on the Texas 34 Bypass toward TX-175.
As he approaches the aforementioned T-intersection, a driver in a yellow Chevrolet Camaro makes a U-turn.
Keen eyes will see this Ram truck turning in the leftmost lane, blocking said U-turner from getting a clear view of approaching cross-traffic.

It goes without saying, but U-turns can only be made where it’s not explicitly prohibited and when it doesn’t interfere with traffic with the right of way, a prerequisite of that being being able to see said cross traffic.
OP slows to avoid a T-bone collision; the driver in the Camaro obliviously drives on.
“This has more to do with the 20-year-old kid always driving it who is financing one at like 25%,” one of the top comments from /u/UBeatFix7299 reads.
“Came here just to say A+ tiedown job on the kayak; that thing didn’t budge,” /u/gilm0re3 added, noting the kayak visible in the top right corner.
“I’ve driven a few different modern Camaros in a few different states – the sightlines aren’t as bad as they say,” /u/cwatson214 shared.
“This is just poor driving.”
In Kaufman, Texas, failing to yield while making a U-turn can result in an estimated $200 fine plus court costs, depending on the specific violation and circumstances. DMV points: 0 under Texas’s former driver responsibility points system, which has been abolished.
