Bisimoto took a trip to Detroit where he claims some “excitement is brewing.” Dodge Vipers were involved.

When someone invites you to hoon some Dodge Vipers, you immediately say yes. That’s exactly what Bisi Ezerohia (a.k.a. Bisimoto Engineering) did recently traveling 2,200 miles to Detroit at the invitation of one Ralph Gilles of SRT lore. We were clued in on this potential collab earlier last week when Bisimoto started posting up pictures in and around Chrysler’s Viper Assembly plant. With SEMA just a couple of months away, could this be a potential SEMA build in the making?

Check out some of Bisi’s posts below. How cool is it that these two creative geniuses swapped some ideas and even hit up a local Cars and Coffee?

Bisimoto is known for unleashing some crazy horsepower builds that make you stop and think, “How is that even possible?” You’ve got the 1,000 HP Honda Odyssey, 1,040 HP Hyundai Santa Fe, and a 700 WHP SOHC 1990 Honda Civic Wagovan just to name a few.

You may be seeing a theme here where the original engine specs, thanks to forced induction, have been at least quadrupled by the time he’s got his hands on it.

The Dodge Viper, in its stock form, is known for always being naturally aspirated. In its latest iteration, the Viper V10 makes 645 HP and 600 lb-ft.

In order to squeeze more power out of this American lump, this V10 is no stranger to a bit of turbocharging and supercharging. Formula Drift’s Dean Karney manages to reliably lay down power in his 1350 HP twin turbo Viper V10 no problem.

But as this is Bisimoto we’re talking about, we’re thinking his Viper will at least eclipse 1,500 HP without blinking an eye. Then again, all of this is conjecture and no official word from either Gilles or Bisi has been said.

Then again, Bisi did say “excitement is brewing” so this isn’t the last we’ll hear of Bisi and a Viper in the coming weeks. We’ll keep an eye on his posts as we’re bound to see more information pop up.
