Someone on Reddit’s /r/cars shared a video of his friend taking his Mom’s Toyota Sienna out for a bit of off-roading.

What happens when you’re bored, have your Mom’s Toyota Sienna, and have a large wooded area near your suburban neighborhood? You take your Sienna off-roading of course. According to user IComplimentVehicles off of Reddit’s /r/cars subreddit, this Toyota Sienna went above and beyond what it’s normally designed for and drove over some proper trails that would tax even some serious off-road vehicles. Check out the silly little video below.

In the beginning of the video, you can make out the silhouette of the white Toyota Sienna in the midst of brush and tall grass. The driver yells out something about finding the best path to presumably get to the other side of the hill and field. Like some SCCA rally spotter, the filmer tells him to take a line, “Through this hill, you’ll be good.” Then like watching a beached whale suddenly get a second wind to make its way back into the ocean, the Sienna guns its 2GR-FE and flies through the muddy whoops, gains some proper momentum, and bull rushes it through the narrow dirt path to the other side.

At the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of teenagers taking their Mom’s van out for a bit of hooning and it’s certainly not what I was expecting to come across the internet today.

If anything, this proves just how capable these mall crawlers really are. Underpinning the Sienna is Toyota’s K-platform which also has a home underneath the more capable Highlander, although that’s not really much of an off-roader either. As some Redditors pointed out, this Sienna is probably also an AWD model albeit Sienna’s don’t come with electronically locking diffs for obvious reasons.

Underneath the hood of almost all Sienna’s of this year is Toyota’s infamous and capable 2GR-FE. This particular spec V6 puts out a decent 266 HP and 245 lb-ft. This engine also finds a home in the more luxurious Lexus GX350 with a variant of this engine found in the 4Runner.

I’m sure the driver will have to explain why there are so many little scratches on the sliding door, but other than that, the mom’ll be none the wiser.
