A very wise Finnish farther has already piqued the driving interest of his three-year-old son and it shows.

Get this three year old some sponsors now because he’s about to be the next big name in Rally driving in a couple of years. According to a Reddit thread that popped up on /r/videos earlier today (Dec. 26, 2017) this young Finnish three-year-old looks like he already has a keen understanding of driving fast (at least on a video game) and looks like he’s a natural behind the wheel. Although it’s not explicitly stated in the video description, a few commenters on the Reddit thread have pointed out that this kid and his Father are speaking Finnish so we can safely assume the country where this kid lives. Check out the awesome display of car control below and prepare to get jealous of this masterclass in Dirt Rally.

In the video, we can see this little guy tackling what looks to be a fairly moderate Rally stage for the game, Jyrkysjärvi. Some commenters are also quick to point out that this kid doesn’t even shift his own gears and has opted for the automatic transmission but seeing as how this particular rally stage is pretty much two right turns with long stretches in between, presumably, changing gears isn’t much of an issue compared to other stages.

According to the video description, his stage time is 3:52.85.  A quick search on Youtube brings up similar videos with the exact same stage and car getting world records with times around 2:52. So while this time isn’t particularly world-record breaking, it’s still impressive given the kids just three years old.

To laud even more praise on the lad, according to another youtube video it looks like this three year old is already pretty good at Cross Kart, an informal winter racing series.

Good driving and Finland go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly so its somewhat no surprise to see young Finns killing it on a video game and in real life.

I’ve subscribed to this Dad’s Youtube channel and am genuinely curious how good this kid gets as he grows older.
