As per Ambit wheels in an Instagram post they put out earlier today (Dec. 5,2018) they’re putting your hankering for these JDM wheels to rest with their OWN version yet to be released.

As the Instagram post doesn’t have many details, those two sizes, 18×9.5 and 18×10.5, should be good news if you own a Impreza GDB/GR8, WRX STI, Lexus IS-F, Nissan S15, Nissan Z33 and Z34 and even the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. That’s according to Rays Wheels recommendation chart. This wheel will be popular with the import crowd, no doubt.

RAYS Gram light 57DR’s are super light and durable. At around 22 pounds apiece, they are a wheel you can count on. But, according to their official pricing, they retail for around $380 a piece. That $1,520 for a set, not to mention S&H.
Ambit’s knockoff probably won’t have as high a durability factor and might come in a smidge heavier but, if the photo they posted has any say on how they’ll look, they’re 90 percent there. From 20 feet away, you might fool some people.
Similarly sized wheels, like this RS18, retails for around $160 each, which is where I estimate these RAYS Gram light knockoffs will retail for. That’s around $640 for a full set which is LESS than half of what you’ll pay for the real thing.
Let’s face it. You aren’t going to race, you’ll probably only hardpark and maybe…just maybe you’ll make a pull in your Evo or swing it “for the ‘gram” in your Nissan and these Ambits will be MORE than enough for that.
