Here’s video of a driver of a stolen Honda Civic hitting a scooter head on.

If you’re looking for a video clip of that fleeing Honda Civic involved in a police chase on San Diego and Los Angeles freeways earlier today, here it is.

Since this is a developing story, I will update this article as it comes in. For the meantime, here’s the video of that crash.

According to ABC 7 news on their coverage of this hours long police chase that happened earlier today (Jan. 3, 2019) a simple traffic violation, failing to yield at an busy intersection somewhere along Washington Blvd. in Culver City, Calif. sparked what would become the longest police chase of 2019, thus far. Here’s a screenshot via Googlemaps of presumably police first attempted to stop this vehicle.

It was then falsly reported that the car he was driving was stolen, which wasn’t the case. The suspect, whom police aren’t releasing further information about, was later found out to be an Army veteran who suffers from PTSD and served a stint in federal prison, charges unknown at this time.

The driver led police through a wild chase in and out of Los Angeles streets where, at one point, he hit a pedestrian, as seen below.

Then, he led police onto Los Angeles freeways, making his way towards San Diego County where he was surrounded, held in a standoff, and captured. I’ve also linked a video of most of the chase below.

As for that scooter rider, sources are reporting that the scooter rider didn’t suffer any life threatening injuries. By the looks of the severity of the crash, surely he suffered some sort of mild to severe concussion which will require further evaluation as the days go on. But, as of this moment, he’s OK.
