That pastor who gifted his wife a new Lamborghini Urus now wants his church members to cough up a quarter million to fix its leaky roof.

Instead of saving souls, it seems like Pastor John Gray is doing all he can lately to save his own behind. According to Greenville Online in a piece they put out earlier last week (Mar. 27, 2019) the newly installed South Carolina pastor asked his church members to help relieve him of the burden he inherited from Ron Carpenter, its former pastor, who did not finish paying all outstanding debts when he was handed the keys to start preaching. One of the biggest debts that needs immediate addressing is the roof which, as mentioned, is going to cost a quarter million dollars to fix.

Gray said the roof was put on the building in 2004. He wanted to collect the $250,000 from churchgoers by April 3.

Earlier last year I blogged about how Pastor John Gray, amidst an ongoing scandal (that still hasn’t resolved…I’ll get into that further down) gifted his wife Aventer a new Lamborghini Urus. Although MSRP for those Italian Super SUV’s is supposed to start around $200,000, as the acronym suggests, that’s only suggested and realistically new ones start at around $250,000 according to the DuPont Registry.  If you go back to my previous blog post linked above, in the video he posted up, he hints that this is no ordinary Urus, adding on optional accessories like upgraded brakes, which only adds on to the price. Back then, I estimated he dropped $300,000 but now I think that’s a conservative estimate.

How ironic that the amount he dropped on his wife’s rambo lambo is what he needs now for a new roof. Talk about getting your priorities out of wack, am I right?

I’m sure Aventer was scraping by in at least a Lexus RX before or god forbid in a pre-owned BMW X5.

And if you thought that previous emotional affair scandal from four months ago has disappeared, as per The Grio, tea is being spilled left and right as of late with evidence being leaked straight from this mysterious emotional mistress as it where.

And since we’re on the subject of fiscal irresponsibility, one of my new favorite accounts on Instagram @PreachersNSneakers really opened my eyes on what Pastor Gray has on his feet, let alone in his garage.

Pastor Gray, you can put those shoes on Poshmark and there’s $3,000 right there.

Anyhow, if Pastor Gray really wants his church fixed ASAP, he can liquidate a lot of his earthly possessions right quick.

What do you think of Pastor John Gray’s latest request to his church members? Do you think a roof as per Greenville Online, installed in 2004, needs repairs so extensive just 15 years later? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
