If Florida Man drove an F-150, this would be him.

Presumed Florida resident and Redditor /u/SianMink shared dashcam footage to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing the insane moment a wild driver in Zephryhills, FL in a Ford pickup went bananas and broke at least three traffic laws in under a minute.

Check out this F-150 driver’s wild, traffic lawbreaking escapade below.

Reckless Pickup. Count the violations [OC]

The incident took place along Gall Blvd in ZephyrHills (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

In the first few seconds of the video, we see the F-150 driver drive against traffic while overtaking on a double yellow twice, a pretty average move for Florida Man, to be honest.

Crossing double yellow lines to overtake is obviously against traffic laws.

We then see leaves and branches fly out of his bed because, of course, his load is unsecured.

Yes, in Florida, lawn clippings like this is considered litter and, according to Florida Statue 316.520(2) and 403.413, not only must you secure your load, littering is subject to fines up to $5,000 and/or jail time.

Tree branches fly out of an F-150 driver’s truck bed.

Flying branches might not seem like a big deal, but it may distract and cause some drivers to swerve to avoid them, increasing the chances of an accident.

And the coup de grâce is when the F-150 driver dodged cross traffic to make a left on red.

Turning left on red, not the brightest move.

smh

Redditor /u/HourlyGrind counted way more than the three I listed, listing 13 violations.

  • Failure to use signal
  • Improper passing
  • Driving on the wrong side of the road
  • Reckless driving
  • Following too closely
  • Unsecured load
  • Littering
  • Excessive speed
  • Failure to maintain lane
  • Failure to yield
  • Illegal turn
  • Reckless driving
  • Obstructing traffic

“I wish it was more common to take away people’s licenses forever. Somebody who drives like this should never be allowed to drive again. One strike you’re out.,” /u/Kittyonkeyboards commented.

“To be fair, he had to make that illegal left right on red. It would have destroyed him to have everyone he just pulled all that s*** on to pull up right behind him while he waited uncomfortably at the red,” /u/AmiHad replied.

“I have my doubts, but I really hope someone driving that recklessly is genuinely having an emergency. Like his coworker and him were cutting tree limbs and his coworker accidentally sawed his hand off or something,” /u/FuzzelFox added, extending the benefit of the doubt.

If what /u/FuzzelFox commented turns out to be true, it makes sense.

However, the simplest reason is often the right one.

An actual emergency, or just bad driving?

My money’s on Florida man being Florida man.
