A driver speeding at night on Duquesne Blvd ran a red light in front of a cop moments before getting pulled over.
Pennsylvanian and Redditor /u/Kexdi shared dashcam footage showing instant karma from earlier in July (July 22, 2024) from Duquesne showing a speeding driver in the middle of the night get what was coming to them after they ran a red light in front of a Duquesne Police Cruiser.
Check out the bit of swift justice below.
[OC] Instant Karma – Driver decides that going 10 mph over in a 40 zone isn’t good enough.

The incident happened along Duquense Blvd (exact location where he was pulled over linked here.)
As OP’s video begins, we see him point out the offending vehicle, a white 2010s Chevrolet Trax at the intersection with Duquense Blvd and Grant Ave.
The speed limit in this area, according to this speed limit sign linked here, is 35 MPH.
In the next minute and a half, we see the driver in the Trax signal, change lanes, and speed past OP despite OP technically speeding at around 50 MPH.
OP comes up to the intersection with S Linden St and observes the driver in the Trax hit his brakes to avoid blowing past the red light.
It’s too little too late as the Trax technically passes the white line before the intersection.
Unbeknownst to the speeding Trax driver, before the corner, there was a Duquenece police officer stopped at the intersection, ready to turn left, seeing it all play out.
OP and other Redditors, myself included, think that the Trax driver would’ve blown through that intersection had it not been for the cop.
The police officer, seeing the Trax driver come to a screeching halt next to him and over the white line, does what OP and everyone hopes will happen and flips on his blues and tunes to pull the Trax driver over.
In PA, speeding is subject to a base fine up to $100 including at least two points on your record.
“Speeding like that is reckless driving. But even setting that aside, if you’re so oblivious that you can’t spot a cop a quarter mile away, then you have no business driving at those speeds,” /u/SomethingIWontRegret commented.
“The car Saw the cop at the last minute. They would have run that light,” /u/Drak_is_Right added.
“Ahahaha. Suckerrrrr,” /u/Hanimal16 replied.
Getting spotted speeding by police and getting pulled over when you least expect it is a tale as old as police cars have been a thing.
Thankfully, that driver was caught, possibly preventing an accident.
Had they learned anything from getting pulled over, I highly doubt it.
