The attempted motorcycle theft was thwarted by physics and the blaring motorcycle alarm.
Kentuckian Dewaker Dhandepani, who supposedly goes by /u/amm2192 on Reddit, posted both unfortunate and hilarious security camera footage from his front house showing a degenerate thief pull up to his home attempting to steal his Husqvarna Vitpilen Motorcycle by deadlifting it into the trunk of a Toyota Corolla.
Check out the security camera footage for yourself below.

Dhandepani does not say where this happened in Kentucky, but it appears to be at a residence somewhere in the greater suburbs.
As the security camera footage shows, this thief attempts to lift this “‘vit” from the rear and soon realizes he’s dealing with more weight than he can handle.
The Vitpilen, equipped with a motion-activated alarm, chirps and then starts blaring.
According to Planet Knox, Vitpilen’s weight is 158 kg without fluids or around 348 lbs.
With fluids, these bikes weigh about 360 lbs.
This dude looks like an average guy who, according to LiveStrong and without any training, can probably deadlift 150 lbs.
Only intermediate weightlifters, on average, can deadlift upwards of 315 lbs.
Overcome by the bike’s weight, both he and the bike hit the ground.
Defeated and probably with a strained back, he slams the trunk of the Corolla closed, climbs into the passenger seat, and skedaddles.
“So not one but two geniuses thought this would work, the guy and the person driving. There’s a toddler toy with shapes and sizes they need to work with,” /u/Significant_Rule2400 commented.
“Make sure you back up all the way so the camera really gets that license plate…..Perfect!”,/u/HomersArmy14 hilariously pointed out.
The license plate appears to be 7FJ5703.
“This guy really thought he was going to pick up a 300-400lb motorcycle all by himself and just throw it in the trunk like a suitcase,”/u/LokiNightmare added.
Hopefully, these doofuses get caught—not just because their attempted crime deserves proper charges, but because their poor planning, sloppy execution, and the fact that they were filmed practically beg the universe for them to be arrested and cited.
