This Mercedes driver’s day did not end well when he was followed after trying to run these cyclists off the road and his car wrecked in retaliation.

Dramatic footage is circulating social media showing POV footage from a cyclist, riding his bike among 100+ riders in Los Angeles, almost being run off the road, on purpose, by a driver in a white, mid-2000s Mercedes.

Shortly after that video dropped, a follow-up video showed the cyclists successfully locating the guilty party in the Mercedes and essentially chasing him down and destroying his car.

Here’s the video of what the Mercedes driver was doing courtesy of Street People of Los Angeles below.

Since what happened to his car involves violence, it will not be embedded here.

You can, however, click the blurred-out photo to see it for yourself.

Click the photo above to see how this man’s Mercedes was not taken kindly too after he tried to run them off the road. The video is also linked here.

In the first video, we can see the driver in the Mercedes, license plate 6YIY239, driving parallel to and, at some points, into a crowd of cyclists participating in a takeover-style ride.

The driver has it out for these cyclists as he aggressively weaves in and out of the bikers, honking his horn to get their attention.

An irate driver in a 2005 Mercedes C230 can be seen driving through a pack of bicyclists participating in a takeover style ride.

This happened along W Olympic Blvd. Parts of Los Angeles High School can be seen.

Here’s the route where the Mercedes driver was spotted in the first video.

The Mercedes driver didn’t get away as, in the second video we can see the mob of cyclists dismounting their bikes, chasing the driver down, and wrecking his car using their hands and feet.

Here, the supposed driver is running away from the horde of angry cyclists.

The alleged driver in the Mercedes can be seen trying his best to escape what’s essentially a “beat down.”

And here’s a screenshot where you can see the front plate, it’s a match from the first video.

6YIY239 matches the plates in the first video.

Like most states, in California, you cannot ride on the road in such a way that impedes traffic.

You also can’t recklessly try to exact your revenge, instilling fear into a rider, by using your car as a potential weapon of sorts.

Multiple other outlets have reported they’ve brought this issue up to the Los Angeles Police Department who, as of this blog, have not officially commented on the situation.
