A crazy driver in a Chrysler 200 does a no-look, multi-lane change, forcing this dashcam owner off US-10.
Ramsey County commuter and Redditor /u/GeorgiaOnMyMind shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in March (Mar 22, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a reckless, no-good driver dropping a no-look, multi-lane change, forcing OP off the road onto the emergency shoulder.
Check out the dashcam footage embedded below with the original Reddit thread linked here.
The incident happened on US-10 just before Exit 29 onto County 1 (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is in lane #4, headed northbound on US-10 towards the aforementioned exit.
A driver in a Chrysler 200 in front and diagonal to OP in lane #1 can be seen, without signaling, slowly drifting across the interstate towards OP.
It turns out they’re doing a no-look lane change as, despite plenty of opportunity to see they’re moving towards OP, they don’t slow or change course.
To avoid getting hit, OP swerves into the emergency shoulder, narrowly avoiding a collision.
” I was just dang lucky no one was in the far right lane at the time. The idiot went back into the non-exit lane after the video ended. So who knows what he was even doing, and he probably didn’t learn a thing!,” OP replied to a comment complimenting OP on their evasive maneuver.
“Haha, a bad driver finally missed their exit,” /u/kornkid42 pointed out.
“If only there was an exit nearby where they could just turn around…,” /u/Bjlind718 commented, highlighting the obvious.
In Minnesota, a no-look multi-lane change that forces another car off the road would likely be cited as careless driving (1.5 points) or reckless driving (2.5 points) rather than just a lane-change violation. Fines vary by county but can range from $100–$300 for careless driving and higher for reckless. Accumulating points can lead to driver improvement requirements or license action.
