Jeep Wrangler driver confused a green turn arrow as his sign to go straight from a turn lane.
Salmon Creek-area driver and Redditor /u/CaseyBullfrog shared headshaking dashcam footage from this busy intersection from earlier in August (Aug 4, 2026) to the /r/IdiotInCars subreddit showing a clueless driver going straight from a left turn-only lane, almost causing a collision with multiple cars.

As mentioned, the incident happened at the intersection of NE 99th St. and NE 7th Ave (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
OP’s shown turning left from NE 99th St to head south down 7th Ave.
Presumably, along with eastbound traffic having the right of way to turn left, traffic going the other way also has a green to turn, too.
This driver in a Jeep Wrangler has a senior moment and likely mistakes his green turn arrow for a regular green, prompting him to go straight.
The Wrangler driver threads through turners, who do their best, OP included, to avoid the wayward driver.

“Only, when I had the audacity to honk at the guy, he and his passenger both flipped me off, and the driver yelled “F*** you” at the top of his lungs (presumably, anyways, I could see him mouth it out but I was playing music and couldn’t actually hear it).”
In Vancouver, Washington, driving straight from a marked turn-only lane can be cited as disobeying official traffic control devices or improper lane use. The infraction is typically around $145 (subject to local court assessments) and does not add points, because Washington does not use a driver’s license point system for traffic violations.
